Job Description: Roof Coatings Technical Sales Manager

Location: Central England

We are looking for talented, experienced individuals based in central England (Midlands, Northern Powerhouse) to support and enhance sales and service with contractors supplying Roof and Cladding coatings systems.

This role suits someone who enjoys engaging with contractors, specifiers, and building owners. The right candidate will support contractors with live jobs, nurture accounts proactively, and be knowledgeable about our systems. Service excellence and going above and beyond are key.

Ideal candidates are curious about eco systems and technologies related to our offerings, and eager to develop their knowledge.

The role involves expanding contractor relationships, exceeding customer expectations, and improving service delivery.

Previous experience may include: roles in coatings manufacturing, coatings application, technical sales involving specifications, or industrial building refurbishments.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Site visits to assess needs
  • Problem solving and providing system solutions
  • On-site contractor training
  • Inspecting work quality for warranty purposes
  • Building and maintaining customer relationships
  • Selling systems and supporting products
  • Reporting on site visits, specifications, and project progress using cloud systems
  • Updating contractor accounts in our database

Candidate profile:

  • Experience in roof/building coatings is preferred but not essential
  • Enjoys building partnerships and supporting clients
  • Motivated to develop customer relationships
  • Service-oriented with a proactive approach
  • Self-managing, organized, and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable with Office and cloud-based tools
  • Interested in eco-focused systems and proactive in identifying opportunities

Qualifications and experience:

  • 5+ years in industrial/construction coatings
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proven relationship-building ability
  • Knowledge of construction standards and regulations

Compensation and benefits:

  • £45,000 - £55,000 salary
