Roof Cladder at The NSS Group

Part of NSS Maintenance

Hourly rate is£17.50

Overtime £20.25ph

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cladder with Roofing Supervision experience to join our expanding team in the NSS Maintenance Division. This role focuses on delivering high-quality roofing and cladding projects while taking a lead role in team coordination and site performance.

The ideal candidate will have solid experience in industrial roofing, working at heights, and a willingness to travel for national projects.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Lead or work within a small team delivering planned and reactive maintenance
  • Install and repair industrial roofing and cladding systems, including gutters and rooflights
  • Apply protective coatings and carry out industrial painting
  • Carry out leak detection, inspections, and repairs
  • Supervise jobs on-site, ensuring safety and quality standards are met
  • Use project tools or checklists to help manage progress and reporting
  • Deliver jobs across various roof types, especially liquid coatings
  • Travel to and work on national projects, staying away from home when required
  • Communicate professionally with clients and the wider team

Requirements required:

  • IPAF (1b, 3a, eb)
  • CSCS labourer or skilled worker
  • PASMA
  • Driving Licence
  • First aid
  • NVQ (Slating & Tiling/Sheeting & Cladding)

Essential Skill

  • Significant experience in industrial roofing and cladding
  • Comfortable working at heights
  • Pride in your workmanship and accountability
  • Flexible approach to work hours and travel

Our national coverage operates from four UK depots to offer planned and reactive building fabric maintenance and refurbishment services to commercial, retail and industrial sectors. We currently employee 600 employees directly across the NSS Group and own a fully serviced truck mounted access fleet, which we use in house for reactive and planned maintenance and cleaning requests
