Job summary

G-Tem Wales is seeking a production operator in Wales to load/unload press components on a robotic line and operate pedestal welders. You will complete hourly targets and perform quality checks, logging results for traceability.

Work includes basic maintenance, proper labeling of assemblies, following safety guidelines, and timesheet recording. Flexibility to support other reasonable requests is expected.

Qualifications

• To load and unload press components on a robotic line, automatic weld machine.
• To operate pedestal welders.
• To complete hourly targets set by team leader to achieve customer requirement.
• To carry out quality checks as set out on a check list and log details for record purposes.
• Ensure all completed assemblies are labelled correctly.
• To carry out basic maintenance including tip dressing, tool changes, setting and resetting of robots and machines and other basic maintenance tasks
• To follow instructions to ensure maximum effectiveness and to adhere to safety guidelines.
• To be prepared to undertake and support other reasonable requests made by the company.
• Complete timesheets to account for "up and downtime" daily

Responsibilities

• Load and unload press components on robotic lines and weld machines.
• Operate pedestal welders and monitor operation for quality.
• Meet hourly targets as directed by the team leader.
• Perform quality checks and log results for traceability.
• Label completed assemblies accurately and consistently.
• Conduct basic maintenance such as tip dressing and robot/machine resets.
• Follow safety guidelines and work instructions at all times.
• Be flexible to assist with reasonable tasks as requested.
• Record daily times and downtime accurately.
