Job summary

Humanoid is seeking a Validation Engineer to define and execute tests for our HMND‑01 Alpha humanoid platform. You will author structured test procedures, acceptance criteria, and measurement plans, then run tests, capture data, and write engineering reports for sign-off.

You will collaborate with Test and Validation Engineers, systems owners, and external test houses to ensure robust qualification of subsystems and assemblies. A strong CAD/measurement background is essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in a test and validation environment in robotics, aerospace, or automotive.
• Ability to author test procedures, test plans, or acceptance criteria from engineering requirements.
• Familiarity with CAD tools and measurement equipment is required.

Responsibilities

• Define test procedures from engineering requirements and briefs, including setup, instrumentation, and data capture.
• Define and agree measurable acceptance criteria with systems owners and engineers.
• Translate scope into test plans with sequencing and dependencies.
• Develop new validation methods or measurement approaches as needed.
• Set up and operate electromechanical measurement equipment and DAQ systems.
• Configure, run, and log tests, export datasets for review.
• Write clear engineering test reports with data, conditions, outcomes, and observations.
• Participate in root cause analysis and liaise with external test houses.
• Maintain lab organisation, tooling, 5S, and equipment health.
