Cellular Origins is pioneering cell therapy manufacturing from Melbourn, just south of Cambridge, delivering automated robotic systems that cut costs and boost reliability.

As a Test and Development Engineer, you will join a multidisciplinary team to develop, integrate, and rigorously test our Constellation system, ensuring performance, reliability, and compliance. The role emphasizes early development through verification and documentation, with significant hands-on testing.

Formación

• A strong engineering background gained either by degree or vocational route.
• Proven experience of testing and verification, and troubleshooting complex mechatronics systems, preferably within a product development environment.
• Robust technical analysis and documentation skills including generating Test Protocols and Test Reports.
• Capable of applying statistical and data analysis, simulation, and engineering modelling techniques to evaluate product performance.
• Ability to identify failure modes, conduct root cause investigations, and implement corrective actions to improve reliability.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in interdisciplinary teams and fast-paced environments.
• A solid understanding of robotic automation systems and robot integration, control systems, and testing methodologies.
• Familiar with modern programming languages such as Python and ROS.
• Experience developing robotic automation systems and robots.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose faults, feed back to design team, and propose solutions for improvements.
