Job summary

Amazon EU SARL (UK Branch) is seeking an experienced Technical Manager for Amazon Robotics. You will lead a global, 24/7 support team, mentor engineers and managers, and collaborate with Software & Engineering teams to resolve critical issues and scale operations.

The role focuses on frontline customer support, incident management, and process improvement in a fast-paced robotics environment across warehousing facilities worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE or related field.
• Proven experience leading technical support teams.
• 4+ years in a management role in a complex tech support environment (6+ FTEs).
• Experience handling high severity incidents as technical authority.

Responsibilities

• Manage, recruit, coach and mentor directs.
• Ensure directs are up to date with company policies and productivity targets.
• Motivate direct reports to reach goals; hold regular 1:1 sessions.
• Create and maintain a healthy and positive work culture.
• Implement and meet departmental goals to improve business outcomes.
• Identify problem areas and implement solutions.
• Evaluate employee performance and identify trends.
• Act as escalation point and incident manager during critical escalations.
