Job summary

Redline UK in Cambridge is seeking a Robotics Software Engineer to design, develop, and test software for advanced robotic platforms using C++ and ROS 2 in Linux environments.

You will collaborate with electronics, mechatronics, and research teams in an Agile setting, contribute to robust software, and provide on-site support with occasional field travel.

Qualifications

• 3 years experience in an industry Software Design position.
• A degree (or Master’s) in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline
• Strong commercial experience with C++ (C++14 or later) and Linux
• Extensive hands-on experience with ROS2 (ROS1 knowledge also beneficial)
• Experience with robotics software development and integration

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test software systems for advanced robotic platforms using C++ & ROS 2.
