Job summary

Lilasciences is seeking a Robotics Engineer for a temporary 3-month contract in Cambridge. You will work hands-on across the robotics stack, contributing to developing ROS2 nodes and integrating robotic systems.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and strong experience with ROS2 and robot kinematics. There is potential for contract extension and full-time conversion based on performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Strong experience with ROS2: node development and interfaces.
• Solid understanding of robot kinematics.

Responsibilities

• Develop ROS2 nodes and interfaces for workflow support.
• Integrate physical robotic systems into the environment.
• Build simulation environments to de-risk hardware deployments.
