Job summary

A Robotics Compliance Engineer role is available with a leading technology manufacturer in the Aldershot area. You will join a team delivering innovative robotic and automation solutions to pharmaceutical, biotechnology and academic markets, from inception to commissioning.

You will support R&D through CE certification work, regulatory interpretation, and collaboration with external testing houses to ensure compliance across bespoke robotic systems.

Qualifications

• Degree (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline.
• Experience working in an engineering R&D environment.
• Experience with bespoke robotic/mechanical/electrical machinery.
• Knowledge of legislative requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support the R&D team by preparing quality control reports, quality assurance documents and managed CE certification for a company that designs and constructs automated systems.
• Interpret and apply regulations, standards, and requirements to new products.
• Work with external testing houses to ensure certifications are achieved.
• Prepare technical files for CE certification.
• Ensure legislative design requirements (Machinery Directive, 2006/42/EC) are adhered to.
• Track issues through resolution phase.
• Create and maintain problem resolution procedures and identify need for new tools to support existing solutions.
• Work with the Engineering team to understand safety issues and solution options.

You will join a team delivering innovative and customised solutions to a required specification from inception to commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Support the R&D team by preparing quality control reports, quality assurance documents and managed CE certification for a company that designs and constructs automated systems.
