Keys Group in Daventry is seeking a Robotic Welding Operator to join its established manufacturing team on a full-time, permanent basis. You will operate and monitor Yaskawa Motoman ArcWorld welding cells, read engineering drawings and support metal fabrication activities, with a fixed 45-hour week and a schedule: Mon-Thu 07:00–17:15, Fri 07:00–13:00.

The role offers a competitive hourly rate (£14.50), with potential overtime, training and progression within a supportive environment.

Qualificações

• Experience in metal fabrication, sheet metal or structural engineering.
• Hands-on experience operating industrial robotic welding cells.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols.
• Basic robotic programming knowledge, including Yaskawa INFORM language.
• Relevant robot operator or basic programming certification.

Responsabilidades

• Operate robotic welding equipment safely and efficiently, working towards production cycle times.
• Load and unload components, ensuring correct positioning and fixturing.
• Select and run welding programmes using teach pendants.
• Monitor weld quality and inspect completed weldments.
• Carry out routine checks and maintenance of welding consumables.
• Read and interpret drawings and ensure quality through first-off inspections.
