Job summary

Eton College seeks Roaming Cleaners to maintain high standards of cleanliness across classrooms, offices, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas. You will operate with flexibility, supporting various areas of the school and keeping facilities tidy during term and holiday periods.

Key duties include laundry-related tasks, bed making, waste management and movement of small furniture for effective cleaning, all while adhering to COSHH, safety policies and school guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning, housekeeping or a similar role.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in high standards.
• Flexible, reliable, and able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning designated spaces in line with SLAs, including classrooms, offices, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and common areas.
• Strip and make beds; send bedsheets to Laundry weekly.
• Move small items of furniture to enable cleaning; use powered equipment as required.
• Ensure COSHH compliance and health and safety policies.
• Attend meetings and training; adapt to term time and school holidays.
