Job summary

adi Electrical is hiring a Roaming Tester to conduct Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) across industrial sites in and around Oxfordshire. This field-based role involves occasional hotel stays and a strong emphasis on safety and accurate reporting.

The candidate should hold a Level 3 Award in Initial and Periodic Electrical Inspection and Testing (2391/2394/2395), have a UK driving licence, and be experienced with BS7671 and thermal imaging.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical inspection and testing with EICRs.
• Knowledge of IET Wiring Regulations BS7671.
• Experience in the Manufacturing/Industrial sector.
• Holding the Level 3 Award in Initial and Periodic Electrical Inspection and Testing (2391/2394/2395).
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Thermal imaging equipment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete EICRs up to 1000V on industrial sites.
• Conduct visual inspections and testing, coding defects with justification.
• Produce detailed EICRs using test equipment and reporting software.
• Perform emergency light testing to BS5266-1.
• Follow safe isolation procedures.
• Adhere to HSE procedures and safe working practices.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings.
• Follow the agreed schedule of works with adi and customers.
• Collaborate with the adi compliance 360 team and report to your line manager.
