Job summary

Amey Consulting is seeking a Technology Engineer to support National Highways from our UK offices. You will contribute to design, calculations, drawings and the production of scheme deliverables alongside our technology team and client representatives.

The role involves working within a team to produce sound engineering solutions, adhering to safety standards, and supporting bids and business development in a flexible hybrid environment across the UK.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• EngTech status desirable.
• Proven commitment to professional development.

Responsibilities

• Work in a team to produce technically sound engineering solutions.
• Prepare designs, calculations, drawings and documentation for scheme deliverables.
• Identify design risks and communicate with principal contractors.
• Oversee junior staff on similar tasks and mentor where appropriate.
• Liaise with client and supplier representatives at peer level.
• Contribute to bids and business development activities.
• Promote health and safety practices within the team.
