Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to join our Patrol division. You’ll provide mechanical roadside repairs, diagnostics, and urgent breakdown support across the UK, starting and finishing from home and touring your local area.

You’ll use the supplied RAC van, fuel card, uniform, tools and diagnostic kit to deliver rapid solutions for members. Growth is supported by training, a share scheme, and wellbeing resources.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent with 2+ years' experience or 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
• Roadside diagnostics, repairs and emergency support across the UK

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK
• Start and end your day at home while servicing local clusters
• Be equipped with tools, diagnostic kit, and RAC support to complete each call-out
