The AA is looking for a Roadside Rescue Mechanic in the United Kingdom. You’ll work around 40 hours a week with flexible shift patterns, and you’ll be the friendly face helping members get back on the road.

You’ll travel to varied locations, assess faults, and apply your technical knowledge to resolve issues at the roadside. You need an NVQ3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent, plus a full B driving licence with up to 6 points.

Qualifications

• NVQ3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent experience.
• Full category B driving licence with 6 points or less.
• Willingness to adapt to new technology and tools we provide.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

Responsabilités

• Starting and finishing on your driveway, paid from the moment you enter your van until you return home.
• Work independently across varied locations while remaining part of a supportive team.
• Use technical knowledge and clear communication to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Resolve roadside issues on the spot with a calm, professional approach.
