Job summary

The AA is seeking a Roadside Rescue Mechanic to join our Field Worker team in the UK. You will start and finish on your driveway, with shifts that flex across varied locations and weather conditions, earning guaranteed year 1 earnings and potential OTE up to £45,000 based on performance.

You’ll be the front-line face of the UK’s largest motoring organisation, using your technical skills and communication to deliver rapid, safe roadside assistance.

Qualifications

• NVQ3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualifications.
• A full category B driving licence with 6 points or less.

Responsibilities

• Starting and finishing on your driveway paid from the moment you get in your van to the moment you get home.
• Working independently across varied locations and conditions, while remaining a valued part of a supportive team.
• Using your technical knowledge and clear communication to help ensure a positive customer experience.
• Solving problems on the spot, using your technical skills and calm approach to handle a wide range of roadside situations.

Education
