The AA is recruiting Roadside Rescue Mechanics to join our team. Starting on your driveway, you’ll be paid from the moment you get in your van, with a typical 40-hour week and flexible shift patterns available.

You’ll be the friendly face of the UK’s largest motoring organisation, helping members get back on the road safely. We offer guaranteed year 1 earnings of £43,976 inclusive of allowances, with an OTE up to £60,000 for top performers.

Qualificações

• NVQ3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualifications with appropriate experience
• Full category B driving licence with 6 points or less
• Confidence using and adapting to new technology with provided tools
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays

Shifts: As a patrol you will work on average 40 hour week with a variety of shift pattern options available, you have the flexibility to choose a schedule that best suits your personal and professional needs. The number of rest days you enjoy each year, as well as the length of your shifts will vary based on the shift pattern you select.

As our Roadside Rescue Mechanic, you’ll go the extra mile for our members. Anything can happen whilst driving, but we are the AA and we get everyone back on the road safely so the show can go on. What do I need?

• NVQ3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent qualifications with appropriate experience
• It’s essential that you have a full category B driving licence, with 6 points or less
• Confidence using and adapting to new technology we’ll provide the tools, you bring the curiosity.
• Flexibility to work shift patterns, including evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays because breakdowns don’t stick to a schedule.
