Job summary

The Automobile Association is looking for a Roadside Rescue Mechanic to join the UK's largest motoring organisation. You’ll work an average 40-hour week with flexible shift patterns and be the friendly face helping members get back on the road.

You'll operate across varied locations and conditions, apply your technical knowledge and clear communication to ensure a positive customer experience, and resolve roadside problems on the spot.

Qualifications

• NVQ3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent qualifications with appropriate experience.
• Full category B driving licence, with 6 points or less.

Responsibilities

• Starting and finishing on your driveway, paid from the moment you get in your van to the moment you get home.
• Working independently across varied locations and conditions, while remaining a valued part of a supportive team.
• Using your technical knowledge and clear communication to help ensure a positive customer experience.
• Solving problems on the spot, using your technical skills and calm approach to handle a wide range of roadside situations.
