Job summary

The Automobile Association (The AA) is seeking a Roadside Rescue Mechanic. You\'ll work ~40 hours weekly with flexible shift patterns across varied locations to help members on the road.

You’ll be the friendly face of the UK\'s largest motoring organisation, delivering safe, on-site vehicle assistance in all weather and hours. You\'ll use your technical knowledge and communication skills to resolve breakdowns, provide excellent customer service, and join a supportive team focused on getting

Qualifications

• NVQ3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent qualifications with appropriate experience.
• Face-to-face roadside service and customer interaction.

Responsibilities

• Start and finish from home; pay applies from start to finish.
• Work independently across varied locations and conditions, while part of a supportive team.
• Use technical knowledge and clear communication to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Solve problems on the spot using technical skills and calm approach to handle roadside situations.
• Maintain a full category B driving licence with 6 points or less.
• Be flexible to work shifts including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
