Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking a Roads Carbon Management Engineer based in the UK (preferably London). The role focuses on carbon assessment for transport infrastructure, embedding PAS 2080 principles, and leading carbon management activities across design stages.

You will guide multidisciplinary teams, collaborate with clients and contractors, and help build a culture of carbon consciousness within WSP’s Roads Net Zero group.

Qualifications

• Experience in carbon assessments and management of transport infrastructure.
• Familiarity with PAS 2080 Carbon Management in Buildings and Infrastructure.
• Proven technical leadership on projects with client-facing responsibilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication, able to simplify complex information.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support carbon management inputs for highways and multidisciplinary projects across all stages of design.
• Act as the Carbon Lead on projects, embedding PAS 2080 principles with clients and contractors.
• Challenge designs to identify opportunities for carbon reduction and climate resilience.
• Develop and apply carbon assessment methodologies, governance and tools.
