Job summary

Kemp Recruitment is seeking a Roadmarking Operative for our Glasgow-based team. You will deliver high-quality roadmarking works across highways and off-highway sites, following safety procedures and working as part of a driven team.

The role offers a Monday–Friday pattern with overtime potential, a £16.00 per hour rate, and long-term career opportunities. Candidates must have relevant experience and a driving licence; NVQ is not required.

Qualifications

• Experience in roadmarking, highways or a similar environment.
• Full UK Driving Licence – Essential.
• Class 1 or Class 2 Licence – Highly desirable.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work outdoors and in a fast-paced environment.
• NVQ qualification is NOT required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out roadmarking and line-marking works to a high standard on highways and local authority sites.
• Work on highways and local authority contracts and complete car park and off-highway markings.
• Set out and prepare areas prior to works and operate roadmarking equipment.
• Follow site safety procedures and risk assessments.
• Work effectively as part of a team and ensure works are completed safely and to standard.
• Travel to various sites as required.
