Job summary

Clancy is seeking a Traffic Management Operative in the United Kingdom to help keep roadworks safe for commuters. You will deliver, install, exchange and maintain temporary traffic equipment, and support highway safety by following procedures and risk assessments.

A full UK driving licence is required, along with tickets such as Lantra M1/M2/M5, TTMBC and Streetworks. You will join a large family-owned construction business committed to people, clients and the environment, with benefits

Qualifications

• A full and valid UK driving licence is needed, along with great communication skills and a ‘can do’ attitude.
• Experience in a similar role or safety critical environment is important.
• Tickets such as Lantra M1, M2, M5, TTMBC and Streetworks are essential.

Responsibilities

• Checking equipment and systems are fit for use and fully operational
• Recording any damage
• Maintaining battery banks
• Assisting with loading and unloading of delivery vehicles
• Managing checklists
• Completing timesheets and risk assessments
• Ensuring vehicles, tools and other equipment are maintained and ready to use
• Assist with maintaining a safe, tidy and clean yard
