Job summary

The Clancy Group in Devon is seeking a Traffic Management Operative to support roadworks safety, operating and maintaining temporary traffic equipment and related tasks. You will help ensure safe traffic flow and perform checks on gear and battery banks.

Applicants should have a full UK driving licence, strong communication skills, and a proactive, safety-conscious approach. Knowledge of Lantra/Streetworks tickets is required; a permanent full-time role offers 37.5h/week with a pay band of

Qualifications

• A full and valid UK driving licence
• Great communication skills
• A ‘can do’ attitude
• Appreciation of safety when working on highways
• Tickets such as Lantra M1 M2 M5, TTMBC and Streetworks are essential.

Responsibilities

• Checking equipment and systems are fit for use and fully operational
• Recording any damage
• Maintaining battery banks
• Assisting with the loading and unloading of delivery vehicles
• Completing timesheets and risk assessments
• Ensuring vehicles, tools and other equipment are maintained and ready to use
• Assist with maintaining a safe, tidy and clean yard
