Job summary

Marlborough Highways is recruiting Road Marking Operatives to join our Essex-based team. You will measure, mark, and apply thermoplastic markings on roads and playgrounds, with full training provided if needed.

You will work with a dedicated team, ensuring safety, precision, and timely project delivery across the county and into London. Applicants should have CSCS, a full UK driving licence, and be prepared to travel between sites.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 Road Building/Road Marking is desirable but not essential.
• CSCS Registration is desirable for site access.
• A Full UK Driving Licence is required to travel between sites.
• Class 2 license is desirable for certain tasks.

Responsibilities

• Measuring and marking out project areas with accuracy.
• Prepping and priming surfaces for a smooth application.
• Applying thermoplastic road markings across roads and play areas.
• Maintaining a tidy, safe, and efficient workspace.
• Liaising with customers and keeping clear project communications.
