Job summary

CraigTech Solutions. The Roads & Highways Recruitment Specialists is seeking a Highway Maintenance Operations Manager based in London to lead the highway maintenance portfolio and drive the delivery of key schemes.

The role requires managing a dedicated inspections team and coordinating with subcontractors to keep works on track. The successful candidate will work closely with the commercial and leadership teams to ensure budget adherence and superior contract performance across the highway

• Demonstrable background in managing UK Highway Maintenance Operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage the highway inspections team.
• Establish and maintain an annual works programme.
• Collaborate with sub-contractors to deliver road surfacing, barrier replacement, pothole repair, road markings and other highway schemes.
• Work with the commercial team to establish an annual budget and develop cost controls.
• Collaborate with the wider leadership team to ensure a high level of contract performance.

Salary: £75,000 - £85,000pa + Benefits
