Job summary

GLASGOW CITY COUNCIL AND ARMS LENGTH ORGANISATION is recruiting for a role in the operational Road and Lighting team, focusing on maintenance of Glasgow’s road and street lighting infrastructure. You will need strong communication, health and safety awareness, and the ability to see tasks through to completion.

The position requires a valid LGV licence, CPC certificate, and a current C+E driving licence, with HAUC/CSCS/CITB desirable.

Qualifications

• Valid LGV licence, CPC certificate and a current C+E driving licence.
• Experience in installation/repair of street infrastructure or related grounds works.
• HAUC/CSCS/CITB cards desirable; training provided if not held.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Glasgow's road and street lighting infrastructure.
• Work across day and night shifts as required, ensuring tasks are completed to a high standard.
