Job summary

Cygnet in Sheffield is seeking a Registered Nurse (RGN/RNLD) to join Sheffield Day Services. The role is 30 hours per week with a pattern to be discussed at interview. You will support people with learning disabilities and complex health needs, delivering high-quality nursing care and maintaining care plans.

You will contribute to assessments, reporting, and medication management, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to promote recovery and reduce risks. DBS checks are required.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current PIN (RGN/RNLD).
• Experience or willingness to work with learning disabilities and complex health needs.
• Ability to maintain and audit care plans and documentation.
• Knowledge of Mental Health Act 1983 and best nursing practices.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality nursing assessments and reports.
• Manage health conditions including epilepsy, diabetes, dysphagia, PEG feeding and medications.
• Collaborate with management to audit and improve service quality.
• Attend training and engage in CPD to develop nursing practice.
