Job summary

Cygnet (DH) Limited in Oaklands is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RMN/RNLD/RGN) to deliver outstanding, person-centred care on a recovery journey. You will join a multidisciplinary team within a specialist learning disability service and contribute to safe, high-quality practice.

The role is a permanent contract at 42 hours per week with a varied shift pattern, including days, nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with the NMC and operate under NMC guidelines.
• Experience producing nursing assessments and observations.
• Commitment to patient recovery, safety and high-quality care.
• Ability to produce and maintain care plans with patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Produce outstanding written reports based on your nursing assessments & observations
• Work closely with the management team to develop the service, audit, & improve quality
• Attend all training and engage in CPD to further knowledge & promote nursing
• Under NMC guidelines, ensure that individual care plans are complete & maintained with patients, relatives & other healthcare professionals
• Safe administration of medication as per local and national guidelines
• Provide effective direction and support to junior members of the team
