Job summary

East and North Hertfordshire NHS Teaching Trust is recruiting a Registered Nurse for their trauma & orthopaedics services. The role involves working on Swift ward, a 27-bed orthopaedic unit, with emphasis on autonomous, nurse-led, patient-centred care and enhanced recovery pathways.

You will join a multidisciplinary team to facilitate swift discharges, provide wound care, manage deteriorating patients and support the discharge team while covering long days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays as

Qualifications

• Must be a registered nurse with current NMC registration.
• Experience in trauma & orthopaedics preferred.
• Ability to support ADLs, wound care and patient monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Support patient with their ADL's
• Facilitate the safe and speedy discharges
• Post op wound care
• Managing deteriorating patients
• Provide patient centred/focused care
• Work with multidisciplinary teams
• Support clinical support workers in their duties
