AdventHealth in Manchester, KY seeks a registered nurse to assess and care for patients across physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs. You will work with the interdisciplinary team to implement care plans and ensure patient safety.

You will perform nursing procedures including IVs, wound care, medication administration, and education for patients and families, in a day-shift, full-time role.

Qualifications

• Requires RN license and associate degree in nursing.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred.
• Experience in medical office setting preferred.
• Ability to document caregiver notes accurately.

Responsabilités

• Assess patients' physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interviews, and review of medical records and clinical data.
• Develops and implements patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, observing outcomes in accordance with nursing standards.
• Demonstrates competency in therapeutic and diagnostic interventions, including IVs, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collection.
• Advocates for and protects the health, safety, and rights of each patient.
• Provides patient and family education based on assessment of learning readiness, needs, and ability, and evaluate the effectiveness of teaching.
