Job summary

Cygnet Group’s Oaklands site is seeking an experienced RMN/RNLD/RGN to deliver compassionate, person-centred care within a specialist learning disability service. This permanent role offers a varied rota across days, nights and weekends, supporting recovery and quality outcomes.

You will conduct nursing assessments, contribute to care planning under NMC guidelines, administer medications, and mentor junior staff while maintaining high standards of documentation and safety.

Qualifications

• Current NMC Pin Number
• Commitment to patient recovery and safety
• Knowledge of latest nursing practices
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities

• Produce reports based on nursing assessments and observations
• Work with management to develop the service and improve quality
• Attend training and engage in CPD to maintain nursing standards
• Ensure care plans are complete and aligned with patients and families
• Administer medication safely per guidelines
• Provide direction and support to junior team members
