Job summary

Amazon.com, Inc. Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) team keeps vital machinery running across our sites. As an RME Technician, you’ll perform planned and reactive maintenance on site equipment, uphold health and safety, and help colleagues stay safe while minimising downtime.

Based on a nodal home site with travel across your cluster, you’ll work varied shifts, respond to breakdowns, and support apprentices while driving continuous improvement and best practices across EU facilities.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics or a 4-year UK certified apprenticeship.
• Valid Full UK Driving License is essential; an associate's degree in Mechnical or Electrical is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Proactive and preventative maintenance tasks on a wide range of site equipment.
• Carry out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse.
• Use the latest tools to maximise equipment effectiveness.
• Uphold all health and safety policies and practices.
• Support the development and progression of on-site apprentices.
• Work on continuous improvement projects and roll out best practices across a range of EU sites.
