We invite high-caliber applicants to join the multidisciplinary team at the Aberdeen City Hospital at Home service as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner/Advanced Clinical Practitioner, supporting our planned expansion.
Hospital at Home offers short episodes of hospital-level acute care at patients' homes, reducing hospital admissions and enhancing healthcare capacity, resilience, and patient outcomes. Currently based at Woodend Hospital, we provide clinical coverage 7 days a week from 08:00 to 20:15 across the city.
This role requires excellent professional leadership, team collaboration across boundaries, advanced clinical assessment, and decision-making skills. The post holder should have experience supporting professional development, teaching, clinical supervision, and applying research and audit, underpinned by current issues knowledge.
You should be flexible to the role and service needs and support the Leadership Team in developing a safe, patient-centered, effective care delivery service, applying the four pillars of practice at an advanced level.
Ability and willingness to travel throughout Aberdeen City are essential. Candidates must own or have access to a car and hold a full UK driving license.
