Job summary

AXA Partners is seeking a proactive Risk Transformation Officer to embed risk initiatives into daily operations across UKI. You will work with first-line teams to ensure new risk frameworks, KRIs, and governance practices are understood, adopted, and sustained.

Reporting to the Senior Manager – Risk Transformation UKI, you’ll coordinate activities, produce governance materials, and help build a strong risk culture through hands-on guidance, workshops, and clear risk reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in operational risk, internal control, or a related second-line role within UK regulated financial services.
• Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks, including KRIs, controls assessment, and emerging risk processes.
• Proven ability to provide practical guidance to first-line teams and influence stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Power BI and Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Support embedding of risk frameworks, tools and processes into BAU activities.
• Work with first-line teams to understand, adopt, and own new risk reporting and control responsibilities.
• Coordinate programme activities, track progress and maintain project documentation.
• Prepare governance materials and reports for senior leaders and committees.
• Build trusted relationships to promote a positive risk culture.
• Facilitate meetings, workshops and working groups for transformation efforts.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to risk practice development.
