Job summary

AXA Partners is seeking a Risk Transformation Officer for a 9‑month FTC to drive embedding of risk frameworks and governance into daily operations. You will partner with first‑line teams to implement new reporting and control responsibilities while coordinating activities across Operations, Claims, and Finance.

You will influence risk culture, prepare governance materials, and lead workshops to sustain improvements across the organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in operational risk, internal control, or a related second‑line role within UK regulated financial services.
• Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks, including RCSAs, KRIs, controls assessment, and emerging risk processes risk reporting processes.
• Proven ability to provide practical guidance to first‑line teams.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and influencing skills.
• Well‑organized with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver high‑quality outputs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Support embedding risk management frameworks, tools, and processes into BAU activities.
• Work directly with first‑line teams to help understand, adopt, and own new risk reporting and control responsibilities.
• Coordinate programme activities, track progress, and maintain project documentation.
• Prepare updates, governance materials, and reports for senior leaders and committees.
• Build trusted relationships across all levels, promoting a positive risk culture.
• Facilitate meetings, workshops, and working groups to support transformation efforts.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to risk practice development.
