Job summary

Deutsche Bank in London seeks a Risk Specialist to join the Wealth Management risk team. You will structure non-standard transactions, review terms, and advise front-office on risk and approvals, with emphasis on complex loans and collateral valuation.

You will collaborate across teams, monitor risk, and support audits while applying rigorous credit analysis and stakeholder communication to maintain portfolio quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in structured finance and corporate/investment banking credit.
• Strong understanding of credit analysis and valuation methods (DCF).
• Proven written and verbal communication and stakeholder management.
• Collaborative and able to meet deadlines under pressure with front-office staff.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field; MBA or CFA preferred.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity with responsible use.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Lending and Client Advisors to grow the Wealth Management lending book and advise on risk and documentation.
• Cover complex loans including unlisted/unrated securities and structured finance, with cashflow valuation.
• Maintain portfolio quality, monitor covenants, and ensure accurate risk system data.
• Work with internal and external auditors to resolve issues promptly.
• Provide timely risk analysis and approvals under the four-eye principle to key stakeholders.
