About the Role:
We're looking for an organised, proactive and detail-focused Risk & Resilience Co-ordinator to join our Emergency Planning and Resilience Team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in helping the Council prepare for, respond to and recover from emergencies, while supporting our wider business continuity, risk management and health and safety responsibilities.
Working alongside experienced specialists, you'll help ensure our systems, processes and records remain accurate, effective and up to date. Your work will contribute directly to keeping services resilient, supporting compliance, and enabling the Council to meet its statutory obligations.
As a central member of the team, you'll coordinate and maintain a range of corporate systems and records, including accident and incident reporting, risk assessments, business continuity plans, training records and risk management processes. You'll also support the delivery of training, exercises, meetings, audits and awareness initiatives, helping to ensure actions are followed through and improvements are embedded across the organisation.
What You'll Be Doing
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working collaboratively, has excellent organisational skills and takes pride in ensuring that important processes run smoothly and effectively.
This is a full‑time role working 37 hours per week on a 12 month fixed term contract. This role offers the benefit of hybrid working, combining office-based working with home working, according to business needs.
