About Our Client

A financial services institution seeks to recruit a Risk Manager to establish, implement, and manage the company's enterprise risk management (ERM) framework. This role involves identifying, assessing, and monitoring key risks, and collaborating with leadership to ensure effective mitigation strategies.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and prioritize risks across various business functions; develop risk profiles to inform decision-making.
• Design and implement the ERM framework, including policies, processes, and tools for risk assessment and mitigation.
• Monitor risk indicators and emerging risks; prepare reports for senior management and the Board.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Compliance, and IT teams to manage risks effectively across the organization.
• Ensure risk management activities comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Lead or support responses to risk incidents; incorporate lessons learned to prevent recurrence.
• Develop and deliver risk training and awareness programs to foster a risk-aware culture.

The Successful Candidate

Ideal candidates will have:

• Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; Master's or certifications like CRISC, FRM, or CERA are preferred.
• At least 5 years of risk management experience, preferably in enterprise or operational risk within relevant industries such as financial services or technology.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
• Proficiency with risk management tools and software.
