Woodland Partners are delighted to be working with this rapidly expanding global Insurance group who are looking to strengthen their Risk function with the hire of a Risk Manager. Reporting into the CRO, this role will cover all areas of risk across the business. Due to expansion plans, this role is initially being offered on a 6-12 month temporary contract.

Specific responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

1. Support the full range of risk activities in the London risk team, focusing on London and European companies and branches.
2. Conduct risk assessments and RCSAs, as well as risk deep dives on focus areas (dependent on expertise).
3. Build out the risk register/framework, enhancing consistency across group entities.
4. Lead reviews of risk appetites and KRIs across group entities.
5. Review underwriting processes and controls from a risk perspective.

Due to the temporary nature of the role and the client’s need for an immediate start or short notice availability, candidates must be available to begin work promptly.

Applicants must have recent experience working in a UK Insurance Company within their risk function. Insurance experience is mandatory.

This role is likely to extend further, as there are excellent opportunities within the Group.
