SSE Thermal is seeking a Risk Manager to lead the Enterprise Risk Management framework and advise the Thermal Executive Committee on risk and mitigation strategies. You will collaborate across multiple functions to strengthen resilience and promote a strong risk culture.
In this role, you will partner with leaders to identify, assess, monitor and report strategic, operational, financial, regulatory, cyber and reputational risks, delivering value through informed decision making.
You’ll be expected to spend 50% of your working week in our Perth office.
£59,800 - £89,800 depending on skills and experience + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join SSE Thermal, playing a critical role in enabling the delivery of our strategic objectives. As Risk Manager, you will act as a key strategic advisor to the Thermal Executive Committee, leading the development, implementation and continuous improvement of SSE Thermal's Enterprise Risk Management framework. Working with a multi-disciplinary team of professionals across the business, you’ll support informed decision-making by identifying, assessing, monitoring and reporting strategic, operational, financial, regulatory, cyber and reputational risks.
The role works closely with business leaders and stakeholders to promote a strong risk culture, ensure regulatory compliance, strengthen organisational resilience, and deliver industry-leading risk and assurance services across SSE Thermal.
