Job summary

Jefferson Tiley is assisting a leading insurance business in appointing a Risk Manager to join its City of London Enterprise Risk Management function. The role focuses on second-line ERM, exposure across ORSA, Risk Appetite, RCSA, risk assessments and senior risk reporting.

The ideal candidate will support ORSA, develop deep dives, and challenge the business with a robust ERM framework, liaising with underwriting, claims and third party capital. Hybrid working three days in the office.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ORSA, Risk Appetite and RCSA.
• Experience undertaking risk assessments and providing effective challenge.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Excellent analytical, project management and report-writing abilities.
• Confidence communicating with senior stakeholders.
• Insurance / London Market experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Support and project manage the ORSA process, including quarterly and annual reporting.
• Develop and deliver deep dives and thematic risk reviews.
• Support the implementation and development of the ERM Framework.
• Provide second-line risk challenge to the business.
• Support the quarterly Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) process.
• Support implementation of the Risk Appetite Framework, including quarterly metrics.
• Produce and analyse risk MI and reporting for senior management and committees.
• Build relationships with Underwriting, Claims and Third Party Capital.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced risk professional looking to develop their career within a broad second-line Enterprise Risk Management role, working closely with senior stakeholders and first-line teams across the business.

You will play a key role in supporting the delivery and continued development of the Group's ERM framework, with exposure across ORSA, Risk Appetite, RCSA, risk assessments and senior risk reporting.

Key responsibilities
