Job summary

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree with 2:1 or above.
• Strong Excel skills are essential.
• Knowledge of SAS or Qlik Sense is advantageous.
• Excellent numerical and analytical abilities.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Analyse large and complex datasets relating to retail finance portfolios, vehicle values and market trends.
• Explore data using industry-recognised analytical tools and techniques.
• Support development of forecasting models, credit scorecards and risk methodologies.
• Engage in vehicle value forecasting activities including time-series analyses.
• Analyse markets, including auction data, depreciation trends and RV performance.
• Assist in integrating economic factors into forecasting and risk models.
• Support implementation of models into live systems and monitor performance.
• Prepare regular and ad hoc reporting for stakeholders and committees.
• Support management of RV and SMR risk across manufacturers and models.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Remarketing, Controlling, Data and BMW Group teams.
• Contribute to process improvements and audit requirements.
• Monitor UK automotive market developments and electrification trends.
