Job summary

Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust is seeking a highly organised Risk Management Business Partner to support the Head of Risk Management in embedding the Risk Management Plan. You will administer day-to-day risk activities, maintain local and corporate risk registers and provide guidance on mitigating risks.

The role involves delivering training, producing reports and dashboards, and offering expert advice to clinical divisions and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support the Ulysses Administrator to ensure robust reporting, dashboards and effective processes are maintained through the system.
• Manage the quality, compliance and accuracy of the local and corporate risk registers.
• Provide first-line support, guidance and advice to staff on Risk Management.
• Produce routine and ad hoc reports, dashboards and performance information to support risk management activities.
• Coordinate the Trust Risk Register process, including action tracking, compliance monitoring and reporting to governance groups and committees.
• Deliver training, coaching and support to staff on incident reporting and risk register management, creating guidance materials and promoting best practice.
• Administer user access and security permissions within Ulysses, ensuring compliance with Trust policies and procedures

Job description

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Risk Management Business Partner to join our Head of Risk Management in promoting and embedding our Risk Management Plan. This new role provides day-to-day administration and support to our clinical divisions, to ensure the local and corporate risk registers are maintained and provide advice on identifying, documenting and mitigating risks.
The post holder will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining risk registers, supporting the administration of the Ulysses system, producing reports and dashboards, delivering training, and providing expert guidance on all matters related to risk management.
We invite applications from candidates with Risk Management experience with strong administrative and analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, experience of working with databases and reporting systems, and the ability to communicate confidently with a wide range of stakeholders.
