Location: London with travel to Sizewell (hybrid working arrangements).

Employment type: Permanent full-time.

Employment basis: The role is expected to be full-time; however, we are open to discussing flexible or part-time arrangements where possible.

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience, plus bonus and other benefits.

The Opportunity

Join our expanding Sizewell C (SZC) team to work on one of the UK's largest megaprojects, supporting the UK’s climate change agenda and energy policy. The SZC Project is a nuclear new build in Suffolk, with planning approval and government support, aiming to provide reliable electricity to 6 million homes for 60 years and help Britain achieve Net Zero by 2050.

The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Risk Lead responsible for developing and managing the Risk Management framework supporting SZC governance, organization, and delivery, ensuring project success on time, within scope, and budget.

The Skills
  • Proven leadership experience in risk management on large infrastructure, construction, or energy projects.
  • Strong understanding of project risk management methodologies (ISO 31000, PRAM, ARM).
  • Skilled in qualitative and quantitative risk analysis.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to influence at all levels.
  • Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Risk, or related field; professional risk certification (e.g., IRM, PMI-RMP) is desirable.
