Job summary

iFAST Global Bank Limited in London seeks a senior compliance professional to support risk governance and prudential compliance. The role involves monitoring and testing key controls, challenging risk processes, and evidencing regulatory obligations within a dual-regulated UK bank.

You will liaise with Risk, Finance and Treasury to strengthen governance, oversee CMP activities, and drive improvement across capital, liquidity and regulatory reporting. Hybrid work post-probation is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in banking risk management, risk governance or prudential compliance.
• Understanding of UK banking regulation and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Ability to evaluate management information, risk assessments and control evidence.
• Strong written communication, judgement and evidence-based conclusions.
• Experience coordinating reviews and meeting deadlines with accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Review the Risk Management Framework and Risk Appetite Framework application, including assessments, reporting, ownership and escalation.
• Ensure timely identification and follow-up of risk appetite breaches, emerging risks and material exceptions.
• Perform Compliance Monitoring Plan testing and provide findings and recommendations for improvements.
• Review risk-based samples of RCSAs, control assessments and risk reporting to assess quality of review and follow-up.
• Record findings clearly and escalate significant issues through the Head of Compliance.
• Monitor governance and controls to ensure PRA requirements are complied with, including capital, liquidity, ICAAP/ILAAP and regulatory reporting.
• Deliver CMP reviews with planning, scoping, testing, evidence review and action follow-up.
• Provide clear monitoring reports and management information highlighting material issues and overdue actions.
• Identify recurring weaknesses in risk oversight and governance; propose practical improvements.
• Collaborate with Risk, Finance, Treasury and other teams to strengthen risk governance and accountability.
