Role Summary

As a Risk & Controls Officer, you will support our Financial Services team by conducting case sampling, providing feedback, and ensuring compliance with FCA principles. You will report to the Risk & Controls Manager and work collaboratively to enhance our risk management processes.

Responsibilities

1. Conduct regular case sampling of business submitted by consultants.
2. Provide timely feedback to consultants on advice reviews, identifying trends and ensuring remedial actions are completed.
3. Prepare periodic reports for the Risk & Controls Manager for profiling and analysis.
4. Ensure accurate and timely recording of advice review outcomes.
5. Conduct customer outcome calls to verify customer understanding in line with FCA Consumer Duty principles.

Candidate Profile

We seek a candidate with a proven track record in risk management, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. Relevant qualifications include Full CII MP, CeMAP (or equivalent). Experience in mortgage advising or quality checking is desirable.
