Job summary

A leading risk consulting firm in the UK is seeking a Risk Consultant to deliver QSRA for significant infrastructure programmes. You will lead risk workshops, validate cost models, and support investment decisions. Ideal candidates have proven experience in delivering QSRA, a strong understanding of cost and schedule integration, and excellent stakeholder engagement skills. This hybrid position offers a competitive salary between £50,000 and £85,000 or £500 per day depending on experience.

Risk Consultant (QSRA) – Major Infrastructure Programmes

London (Hybrid working)

£50-85,000 or £500 per day

We’re working with leading infrastructure clients delivering some of the UK’s most complex programmes across transport, energy, utilities and nuclear — and they need strong Risk Consultants who can genuinely add value.

The role

You’ll sit at the heart of major programmes, helping leadership teams understand uncertainty, exposure and confidence in cost and schedule.

What you’ll be doing :
  • Leading and delivering QSRA / QCRA on major infrastructure projects
  • Building and validating cost & schedule risk models (Primavera Risk, @RISK, Safran, RiskyProject etc.)
  • Running risk workshops with senior stakeholders
  • Translating risk outputs into clear, commercial insight (not just charts)
  • Supporting business cases, governance gates and investment decisions
What we’re looking for
  • Proven experience delivering QSRA on infrastructure programmes
  • Strong understanding of cost & schedule integration
  • Comfortable engaging with senior project, commercial and client teams
  • Background in rail, highways, energy, nuclear or major civils ideal
  • Consultancy or client-side experience welcome
Bonus points if you have :
  • P6 / cost engineering exposure
  • SC clearance (or eligibility)
