Cadent is seeking a Risk & Assurance Support Officer to strengthen controls across Capital Delivery projects and our supply chain. You will help plan, design and deliver second-line assurance activities, identify risks, and drive continuous improvement in performance and compliance.

You will work with the Risk, Reporting and Assurance team to ensure robust assurance programmes, effective risk management and meaningful recommendations across the business.

Competenze

• Experience in assurance, auditing, risk management or compliance within a regulated environment.
• Strong analytical skills to identify trends and provide practical recommendations.
• Clear verbal and written communication with ability to influence stakeholders.
• Ability to build effective relationships across operational and corporate teams.

As our Risk and Assurance Support Officer, you'll play a key role in supporting the delivery of risk and assurance activities across Cadents Capital Delivery projects and our supply chain. This isn't just about auditing processes, it's about helping the business identify risks, improve controls and drive continuous improvement across operational activities.

Working closely with the Risk, Reporting and Assurance team, you'll support the planning, design and delivery of second-line assurance activities across Cadents Capital Delivery process and our supply chain/contract partners. You'll help ensure assurance programmes are robust, risks are effectively managed and recommendations lead to meaningful improvements in performance and compliance.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys analysing information, investigating issues and working collaboratively with stakeholders to improve business processes and outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Full UK driving licence.
• Lead or Internal Auditor qualification (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 or ISO 45001) or equivalent internal auditor training.
• IOSH Managing Safely qualification preferred.
• NEBOSH General Certificate desirable.
