Job summary

Robert Half Ltd, partnering with a private equity backed Bristol-based business, seeks a Risk Assurance Manager to own risk and internal controls design and ongoing improvement, including AI tool development and process enhancements within the audit cycle.

The role combines day-to-day control testing and reporting with strategic oversight, offering a hybrid work pattern and a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with practice background is desirable.
• Solid grounding in internal audit, risk management and internal controls.
• Experience in a Private Equity backed business is advantageous.
• Proven ability to drive process improvement through AI and related tools.
• Advanced Excel skills with large, complex datasets.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end internal audit delivery through to final reporting.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across levels to design and implement control testing.
• Analyse data to identify risk trends and mitigate issues.
• Maintain and develop the risk register and documentation for audit work.
• Educate and influence for tighter internal control opportunities alongside ELT/Board.
