Job summary

Anthony Collins is seeking a Risk and Compliance Manager to lead complex regulatory matters across the firm, supporting the Head of Risk, Compliance & Knowledge. You will advise partners and legal teams on SRA standards, AML, conflicts and data protection while driving best-practice governance.

The role blends practical risk leadership with training and project delivery, including regulatory change management, audits and reporting. A strong track record in the legal sector is essential.

Qualifications

• Significant legal sector risk and compliance experience with strong knowledge of SRA regulation, AML, conflicts and data protection.
• Proven ability to interpret complex legislation and apply regulatory requirements within a commercial legal practice.
• Strong communication and training skills to advise partners and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical advice on SRA Standards & Regulations, AML, conflicts, data protection and wider regulatory requirements.
• Lead compliance audits, investigations and risk reviews, identifying improvements and driving best practice.
• Manage professional indemnity claims and support complaints handling and regulatory reporting.
• Deliver training, guidance and challenge to partners and senior stakeholders on risk and compliance matters.
• Lead projects responding to regulatory change and emerging compliance risks across the firm.

Ready to take the lead on complex legal risk and compliance matters in a firm that advises organisations and individuals, making a positive difference to society?

You will support the Head of Risk, Compliance & Knowledge in delivering a specialist risk and compliance service across the firm. Working closely with partners, legal teams and business services colleagues, you will provide expert guidance on complex regulatory matters and help ensure compliance across the sectors we serve, including housing, property, social business and charities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical advice on SRA Standards & Regulations, AML, conflicts, data protection and wider regulatory requirements.
• Lead compliance audits, investigations and risk reviews, identifying improvements and driving best practice.
